Part-time Chief Officer required for Cholsey Community Development Trust up to £32,000 Pro Rata for 16 hours per week

Cholsey Community Development Trust was set up during 2011 to own and manage community buildings, encourage a green lifestyle, and to support community development. Initially focusing on Fair Mile (now called Cholsey Meadows), it is broadening out to support activities within Cholsey village and ensure integration across the community.

The Trust is now looking to build on its strong foundations by appointing a part-time Chief Officer to guide the Board in managing the new facilities, and developing its activity programme. Chief Officer Salary: Up to £32,000pa (pro-rata initially 16 hours per week)

We are seeking a Chief Officer with organisational, promotional and entrepreneurial skills to build and develop this ambitious Trust in partnership with the developers, local residents and community groups. You will have experience of community development, related funding opportunities and setting up and successfully delivering area based projects. We are seeking a leader with vision, energy, communication skills, and the ability to work with a Trustee board to formulate and drive forward practical initiatives that make a difference.
