Police: July update for Cholsey

Here is the latest Cholsey/Moulsford neighbourhood update from Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Taqwa Galpin and PCSO Clare Beale.  It is an excerpt from the broader Police Update for July

With the new Pavilion up, running and looking great we are keen to increase patrols around the area. With the weather having seen some signs of improvement we have seen an increase in young people out and about and we stop and speak to groups as often as possible. The youth shelter has been subject to more graffiti recently and we are pleased to have identified the individuals involved and they have been dealt with.

Cholsey Primary School had a small digger stolen over the last weekend of June. If anyone saw any suspicious activity around the school please call us on the police non-emergency number 101.

We are pleased that there have been fewer reports of problems at the allotments, we hope this is due to our close monitoring, but we will continue to visit the affected areas when on patrol.

We will as always monitor the parking in Cholsey. The areas affected are Ferry Lane, Ilges Lane, Station Road, Papist Way, West End, Sandy Lane and Church Road. £30 Fixed Penalty Notices have been issued to vehicles parking illegally. Please ensure you are aware of any parking restrictions in place and that you are not parked in a way that will cause obstruction to other road users and pedestrians.
