Cholsey Bonfire Night – Friday 1 Nov 6pm – 9:30pm – Fair Mile Cricket Pitch

Fancy Dress Procession and Carved Pumpkins

A fancy dress procession will leave from The Forty at 6pm and another from the Oval at Cholsey Meadows at 6:30pm. Please dress up, bring a pumpkin if you have carved one, a torch, and wear high visibility clothing. Parents are asked to supervise their children. The processions meet at the corner of Newlands and Ferry Lane then we make our way to place pumpkins in and around the story tent and to  the bonfire on the cricket pitch.

Stories around the Camp Fire

Bar and BBQ, soup and hot chocolate available. From 7:30 to 8:15 pm Jackie will lead story telling in the story tent followed by songs around the fire. Finish 9pm. Fire out at 9:30pm. Free entry, with a small charge for food and drink. There are no fireworks at this event, but there will be sparklers and a large bonfire.
