Thames Valley Police Update – December 2013

This is an extract from the local police report for Cholsey for December 2013, a full report can be found at

The police encourage road users to take special care with the road conditions getting worse due to the wintry weather. An increase in accidents is expected at this time of year, stick to speed limits and consider weather conditions.

A property was broken into in Cholsey while the occupants were home and small valuable items were taken. The police advise ensuring that valuable items cannot be easily seen inside your home and don’t leave packaging for expensive items on display (including recycling bins/boxes). Homes that don’t look occupied after dark are a target for burglary, always leave a light on if you are out in the evening and keep doors, windows, garages, sheds and out buildings locked.
