Thames Valley Police Update – November 2013

Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) within the village continues to be a problem with young people congregating in the recreation ground, Station Road and by Tesco. If you witness anything call the police non-emergency number 101 or 999 if a crime is in progress.

The police have received reports regarding an off road bike being driven on West End, Cholsey and have managed to obtain a picture of the bike and rider and inquiries are being made.

At the beginning of the month bike sheds in Cholsey Meadows were broken into and bikes stolen. The police are working with Cholsey Community Development Trust on this matter.

There have been reports of illegal Hare Coursing in the past month in Cholsey and Moulsford on land around Manor Farm. If you see any illegal Hare Coursing taking place then please call  999 supplying as much information as possible including vehicle descriptions and registration numbers, but please take care when doing this.

Parking in certain places in Cholsey and outside the school is being monitored . The police are waiting for the double yellow lines to be marked outside Tesco, after which parking tickets will be issues for illegal parking.

There was an Attempted Theft from Vehicle on Goldfinch Lane and a Burglary Non-Dwelling reported on West End.
