SODC: Housing Site Allocation – can Cholsey sustain any more houses?

SODC is currently consulting on where the extra 6,000 houses allocated to South Oxfordshire by Central Government should go. There are a number of options and Councillor Mark Gray is encouraging people to respond as he believes these homes are not needed and is dubious that the “market” will be able to stand so many new properties.

Cholsey has already taken 450 new homes at Fair Mile, with a further 128 to come and he believes that the infrastructure of the village cannot cope with any more.
