Temporary Closure of the Corn Exchange – film in Cholsey!

The Corn Exchange is now closed in preparation for major building works but the show still goes on -at another venue, in Cholsey. We are collaborating with the Cholsey Community Development Trust and throughout the summer will be showing films at The Great Hall in Cholsey Meadows. Equipment currently used for our smaller; second screen; showings are being transferred to the out-of-town cinema; to be known as CornExchange@The Great Hall. Screenings at the venue, which is located in the Grade II listed building of the former Fairmile Hospital, will also include weekend matinees and NT Live Encore shows. There is an on-site bar and seat tickets will remain the same price as those at the Corn Exchange.

Films to be shown in July are:

Friday 7th: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (15) at 7.30pm, (tickets £7)

Saturday 22nd: NT Live Encore Peter Pan (PG) at 6pm (tickets £10, under-18s £5)

Saturday 29th: Lion (PG) at 7.30pm (tickets £7, under-15s £5)

Future programme details  can be found on the Corn Exchange website, www.cornexchange.org.uk, where tickets can also be booked. Tickets will also be available on the door at the Great Hall before each performance. Please note that the Corn Exchange box office will not be open for ticket sales.
