Elections to the European Parliament will be taking place in the UK on Thursday 22 May 2014. South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse are part of the South East region which is represented by ten elected members of the European Parliament (MEPs). The European Parliament has powers to pass laws on a range of issues that affect our daily lives, including working hours, consumer protection, environmental standards including air quality and agriculture.
If you are not already on the Electoral Register, or you have moved house since you last registered, then you need to register to do so by Wednesday 7 May in order to vote in the European Elections 2014.
